Description
Torn Bloom Vase
Part of the collection Beneath the Surface, this vessel opens outward like a quiet flower — its wavy rim soft and organic, wider at the top as if reaching gently toward the light. Sculpted by hand in paper clay, it carries deep brown and stone-beige tones, with faint traces of pink blooming through its surface.
The colours feel buried and unearthed at once, shining softly through fine cracks and layered textures. It’s a piece that holds both warmth and restraint — grounded in earth tones yet touched by something tender and luminous.
Imperfect yet intentional, Torn Bloom speaks to the heart of Ylva Marianne Borre’s work: beauty found in what is revealed slowly, and in what was once unseen.
